கானலும் காணும் கண்கள்

I had a few friends in my college, who din't know English. I never realized then, how difficult is to be with a particular language speaking community, when you do not know that language. Those guys used to struggle a lot in studies, having done their schooling completely in Tamil. I also din't realize the fact that it's very difficult to learn a language from scratch all of sudden. Now, having pushed into a Hindi speaking population and not knowing Hindi, I face so much problems in even relating to people. I know that people are always considerate enough and kind enough to speak in English even at my mere mention that I don know Hindi. But, I just wanted to follow some of my friends' way, to live with this difficulty and learn the new language, and this is what those guys did when they din't know even the basic sentences in English. But, now I know those guys are simply great! It's not really simple to be that way. It needs so much determination and you should never give it up until you beat it!! :)
